I don't know if there's any kind of fix for this either other than uninstalling Citrix Workspace, but I hope one can be found. However, given how many folks are working remotely at the moment and into the foreseeable future, I wanted to let people know before they went through all the hassle I just did. I'm not certain if this is affecting all games or not, the only ones I have via Steam are 3D puzzle games. It just has to be on the system for it to cause the Steam client to cry. So it seems there's something in the latest Citrix Workspace that's conflicting with Steam even when it's not actually open and doing something. The ONLY difference I can find is that the last Citrix Workspace update was on 3/24, and I hadn't launched any of my games since before then. It wasn't even in any of my startup folders. I checked if Citrix was running in any capacity and confirmed it was not. To further test, I went back and re-installed Citrix Workspace (because working from home is a thing right now) and immediately went back to crashing.
